How to prepare for your scan
Pelvic & antenatal scans
These often need a full bladder — drink water beforehand and avoid passing urine just before your scan, unless told otherwise.
Abdominal scans
Some abdominal scans require fasting for a few hours. If your doctor has advised fasting, an early-morning slot is easiest.
Bring your prescription
Carry your doctor's referral, prescription and any previous scans or reports so we run exactly what's needed.

What services do you offer? +
We bring three things together in one place: an ultrasound scanning centre, a doctor's consulting centre with visiting ENT and Gynaecology specialists, and our on-site pharmacy, Oasis Medicals. You can get a scan, see a specialist and collect your medicines in a single trip — right beside the Govt. Hospital at Kunnumpuram.
Which doctors consult here and when? +
Dr. Hima Thomas (MBBS, MS ENT), Consultant ENT Surgeon — Monday & Thursday, 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM.
Dr. K.P. Girija (MBBS, DGO), Senior Consultant Obstetrics & Gynaecologist — all days except Sunday, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Walk in during these hours, or reserve a slot on WhatsApp to reduce your wait.
How do I prepare for an ultrasound scan? +
It depends on the scan your doctor has advised. Pelvic and antenatal scans often need a full bladder, while some abdominal scans need a few hours of fasting. Please bring your doctor's referral and any earlier scans. If you're unsure, just call us and we'll tell you exactly how to prepare.
Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in? +
Walk-ins are welcome during opening hours. For doctor consultations we recommend booking a slot on WhatsApp or by phone, so you're seen within the consultant's fixed timings with minimal waiting.
Do you have a pharmacy? +
Yes — Oasis Medicals is our on-site pharmacy. It keeps prescribed medicines in stock so you can consult, scan and collect medicines in one visit. Call ahead on 75 94 80 2002 or 75 94 81 2002 and we'll keep your order ready.
What are your opening hours? +
We are open Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, and closed on Sundays. Doctor consultations run within fixed hours on their consulting days (see above).
